Blackberry fans use to complain about having to use their thumbs too much :-), because actually there is nothing you can do in this popular device without writing, and this is probably why HP has launched his new gadget the Ipaq Voice Messenger.
This mobile phone not only reads out loud your messages but also lets you reply to them without typing anything, as you can record a voice message that will be sent as WAV file in the attach to your recipient.
I guess this is a good new for people who likes to be connected on the move and not having to get their fingers tired while doing it :-). More over, this phone allows you to do almost everything using voice commands: navigating through options, updating your calendar and, of course, call someone from your contacts. It has also wi-fi capabilities, so you can use it over the net whenever there is a connection in a sort of skype-type mode. If you were looking for a new model of handset that you ease your digital life, this one could be a pretty handy one to have!

Google Desktop Search Assistant is a free plug-in that extends the search capabilities of both Google Desktop Search and Datacatch Librarian, allowing users to search their offline removable media and desktop in a single operation. If you are the type of consumer or user from small office/home office applications that regularly turn to low-cost removable and portable media solutions to store an ever-growing amount of data including files, photos, movies, music, and business archives, here is something that can be of your interest.
Datacatch Librarian is totally integrated with Microsoft Windows so provides a familiar view of archives, backups and other data stored on removable media. To locate a particular document, file or photo, a user simply browses files, folders and thumbnail images in the same way as browsing a computer’s hard drive. Alternatively, a user can type in a title or file name into the Windows search engine to locate the removable media.

I’m a fan of calendars, agendas, TODO lists and everything that helps me to organise my work, my postings and even my private time :-). For that reason I use to keep everything quite well arranged in my Firefox and Outlook calendar, my paper agenda and also my mobile phone. If you, like me, can’t stand having to spend too much time to create just an entry in your calendar to remind you about something important, this tool could be useful for both of us :-).
The application is named Copy2Calendar, and it will allow you in a few seconds to create calendar entries in Outlook, Lotus Notes or Palm Desktop from text in email, web pages and documents. When you receive an email with the date and time of an upcoming event, you just highlight the text, press Ctrl+C twice and that’s it! A new calendar entry is created.
The best is thing is that it is available free for non-commercial use, and it is able to find date and time specifications in 13 languages including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Swedish. So now, no excuse to miss that important date!
Although it is not a “new product on the market” the truth is that any blogger, webmaster or just a normal internet user has a lot to profit from the last version of the Google toolbar, that one that most probably all of you reading this blog will have installed on your browser.
The thing is that the version 3.0 really nails it. For road warriors, there is a lot of interesting stuff here. The drop-down bookmarks menu is great, it maintains a copy of your bookmarks on the google servers so they are accesible from everywhere, and the only thing you need to do to access them is to log in with your google account.
The new “sendto” functionality is also great to send yourself, or someone else, a webpage or a part of it, via email, sms or via a post should you have a blogspot hosted blog. And another enhancement, you can now access the Docs and Spreedsheets application directly from the toolbar, so it is becoming increasingly easier to do all sort of stuff on the net at the reach of a few clicks. It is without doubt a must have in your browser

One of the best things of running a blog about new products and services, is that you get to know first hand many interesting applications, services and cool stuff that otherwise it would be harder to find by yourself ( or you even may not be aware of it). This is the case of this site we were asked to check thanks to Sponsored Reviews: Cellular-blowout, a large ecommerce store that specializes in unlocked phones and cell phone accessories.
Browsing their site you can notice that they currently have around 300 different phone models available and over 17,000 different accessories ( no, I did not count them, they told me :-)) , so you won’t be short of options. Phones are sorted into categories like hot new ones, most popular, camera phones, or directly by brand. Same goes with their range of accessories. The idea behind is that you no longer need to be restricted to a long term cellular contract, as you can buy easily one of their unlocked cell phones. And if you do not know what to buy and need suggestions, got questions or want to get advice, you can join the implemented forum, it makes it easier to decide about the product that best suits your needs.
The shop also uses a Yahoo! Shopping ecommerce platform so all orders and customer information is very secure, for those who are not very comfortable doing this over a keyboard. If you are to decide about buying one of their products, note down this code “cbx05″, as they offer the readers of this blog a $5 off in any order you place ( thank you guys! :-)).
Although seems to be for the moment basically available for Spanish and English speakers, this website will be pretty useful for those who want to improve their knowledge of one of the two languages watching the lastest TV shows and movies. I am talking about Wikisubtitles, a wiki-style project where people is adding subtitle-files for the most interesting series and movies, and that you can easily download for your own pleasure.
If you like also to translate and help on the project, feel free to register on their website! We will be all looking forward to find the last subtitles for House, Lost, etc,etc :-).Btw, which one is your favorite? Did you see the last episode from Lost?
