12 Mar 07 Sponsored Reviews, connecting bloggers with advertisers

The guys from Sponsored Reviews have finally started inviting people and launching their first review opportunities in the Beta version. I have been invited to create an account so I can start checking the wonders that everybody has been commenting about this new service. This is then, a paid review to check their system.

Bloggers and advertisers are becoming good friends, it is an increasingly interesting market due to the popularity blogs have acquired in the marketing and sales world. There are so far 4 services that I know that offer paid reviews for advertisers so bloggers can comment on their stuff.

So, what can I see that makes Sponsored Reviews better than the others?. For bloggers, the most interesting thing is that you get paid every two weeks by means of Paypal, easy and directly to your account, and that the transaction fee is just 35% of the total price of the review. That means that for the good amount of time you are checking advertisers products and trying to see what is good and what is not good with them, it is a good return of the invested time. It is so far the lowest fee I have seen also in all the 4 services.

The other thing that I like is that I do not need to sit and wait for a publisher to discover my blog, but rather I can offer my services to them by means of their dual system. I can see what products are waiting to be reviewed and therefore I can choose what it is interesting for me. You can also negotiate the price with the advertiser, so if you consider that your time and expertise is worth it much more than the initial bid, you can try to push it a bit up and get a nice agreement with the publisher that is both satisfactory for you and them.

So far so good, then. I have created a public profile for this blog in their system, so if you want your product to appear in Review the Market, let us know!, we’ll be happy to have a look and comment on it :-).
